Easter Egg Cards Part 2

For this series of cards, I used the 4.25 x 5.5 card with the egg cut out as a stencil. I taped them over another card (same size) and stamped the flowers/leaves on the inside. Once done, I discarded the stencil, added a sentiment. Here are samples of the results.

Fun with Alcohol – “Ink That Is” – Part 3

I started something when I got my alcohol inks out the other day and made my own backgrounds. My BFF saw the technique and wanted to make some as well, so here are some more examples.

For this card I started out making with a green, yellow and orange alcohol ink background. I stamped the inked background with black Staz-on Ink and Memory Box –  Shadow Trees Stamp. I stamped and coloured MFT - BB Witch Way Is the Candy? (Pumpkins) & Happy Harvest (Little girl -retired). The Sentiment is from Technique Tuesday – Grateful. I extended the hills from the MB stamp using black card stock and scissors.

I entered this card into:

Craft for the Craic – Sometime for a Child

For this card I wanted to go for a masculine card. I stamped the moose from Technique Tuesday – Possibilities onto the blue, teal, and lilac Alcohol Ink background. I added some grasses and bulrushes and a Thankful sentiment. I made a similar card using a birthday sentiment.

For the final cards of the day, I stamped Memory Box – Wildflower Field onto an orange, yellow, pink Alcohol ink background. For the sentiment,  I used the Thanks from Winnie and Walter – Big, Bold You.
