C.R.A.F.T. Challenge 414 – Technique Challenge: 3D Decoupage

For our 414th Challenge we are asking you to try to make a 3D Decoupage project. This is one technique I do not do often so it is a challenge to me. My friend, Pearl, purchased a 3D Precut Card kit Cross Cut Out with Candle & Flowers sold through Ecstasy Crafts.

There were enough pieces in the kit to complete 8 different cards. The pieces are all precut so it is just a matter of assembling the 3D images. I used to two laser card card bases, and made to extra cards with black and white card stock. The sentiments are die cuts and stamps from Avery Elle and Verve. I made them all up as sympathy cards.

With Deepest Sympathy

Unfortunately as ones gets older, one has a need for Sympathy cards. I wanted a few very simple, yet classic designs. I made up the cards using a few different embossing folders, ribbon/gems/encaustic leaves from my stash, and a sentiment from Verve.

I entered my first card into Totally Gorjuss – Sympathy Challenge and Cards in Envy – Autumn Leaves Challenge

I entered this card into Little Tangles – Anything Goes

UDATE: My card was selected as Mailbox Winner by the Cards in Envy Design Team. See Cards in Envy – Autumn Leaves Challenge
