The CHNCCC is to make a card for a man or boy. What could be better than polar bears skating, fishing, or just hanging around! I used MFT - BB Polar Bear Pals. I absolutely adore this set of stamps, and it is so hard to select just one bear, so I used them all! I coloured them with Copic markers and added an embossed sentiment from SSS – Small Folded Banners Holiday set.

For this week’s Craftyhazelnut’s Christmas Challenge, we are asking you to design a Christmas for a child. Every kid loves animals and I thought the fun stamp designed by Kristina Werner from SSS called FURRY CHRISTMAS Friends Pets sss101204. I coloured it with Copics, added a little Stickles and glued it on Christmas cardstock from my stash.

This week at CRAFT, we challenge you to make a project using a charm. For my card, I used a sweet digi image called,”Spring Ladybug” by StarStampz. I coloured her using my Copic markers, cut the image out with a circle die from MFT, added a hello sentiment die cut from SSS, and finished it off adding two wooden ladybug charms from my stash.

This week at 52CCT the design team have a new Sketch Challenge. For my challenge, I started with colouring my Digi tamp called 3 Penguin Blocks by Dilly Beans Stamps. I coloured the images using Copic markers.Next, I diecut 3 squares using MFT - Die-namics Stitched Interactive Window Trio (note: the windows are attached on one side and I took my knife and cut the flap off). I taped the images behind the windows added a piece of ribbon and glued the front to the card backing. I added a sentiment from SSS and three snowflake sequins and three pearls.
Please join in the fun!
This month the Simply Create Too Design Team Challenge is to make a Card using Diecuts. I love die cuts. I have invested a little fortune in dies and don’t use them nearly enough. I have made two different cards using dies and papers from my stash. The only ink I used was on the sentiments.
Card 1 – I just received a shipment of dies, stamps, and embossing folders from Darlene at Dutch Paper Crafts so I had to make a couple of cards for this month’s challenge. I used papers from my paper hard, my Tim Holtz Vagabond Die Machine. The sentiment is from SSS. The adorable Zebra is by Marianne Designs - COL1447 Zebra/Donkey Die Set. The Embossing folder/die is from DF3444 Anja’s Flower Border Embossing Folder with matching Dies (I used the die upside down on the embossed background and cut it down to fit an A2 card).
Card 2 – This card uses die from Memory Box – UNDERWATER COLLAGE Craft Die 99742 and SEAWEED COLLAGE Craft Die 99727, plus Marianne Designs – Elines Tropical fish seahorse col1431. The sentiment is by SSS. Note: I popped everything up using dimensional foam tape to create a 3-D effect.
Our challenge runs through the month of April (4/6 to 4/27). I look forward to seeing your creations.
