The week at Craftyhazelnut’s Christmas Challenge is looking for Glitter this week. I selected an adorable snowman (retired) from MFT. I coloured him with Copic markers, then I “painted” a little white glue over the image then poured some Stickles Diamond Dust Glitter on it. I used a circle die to remove a circle from my SSS woodgrain cardstock, then taped the image behind it. I added a glitter bow and mounted it on the card front. The sentiment is from cardstock by Lawn Fawn.

Our technique challenge at 52CCT is masking. There are many different masking techniques and I have created 2 different cards: one simple and one more complex.
Card 1 Simple Masking
For this card, I masked off a 2-inch strip of the card base, then sponged on 3 shades of Oxide Distress Inks on blue/green tones. I removed the masking tape, then stamped snowflakes (MFT-Snow Flurry stamp set) along the inked bar in various shades of Stampin Up inks and Versamark with Hero Arts gold embossing powder. The sentiment is also from MFT (Joyous Christmas) I added a few pearls to finish the card
Card 2 – Complex Masking
I stamped out a scene/sentiment using Papertry Ink. “Winter Hills Stamp Set.” I also stamped the house image on a thin sheet of masking paper. I coloured the house scene with Copic markers, cut out the house I stamped on the masking tape, removed the masking back, placed it over the original, used some hill shapes to mask off part of the image. I sponged on hill shapes. Once I had the image as wanted I set it aside, I die cut a snowflake unto the front of an A2 card, using dies from PI, and two separate smaller snowflakes from silver and blue papers. Assembled the card.
This week the C.R.A.F.T. Design Team is looking for the addition of something wooden. A year ago, I purchased 50 adorable wooden ladybugs and along with StarStampz - Spring Ladybug Digi Stamp I made a cute general Hello card. I printed the image using my laser printer, then ran the image through my Minc machine using shiny black foil. Next I added colour with my Copic markers. I used B&W dotted paper(MFT) a flourish, stitched circle die (MFT), and Hello sentiment (SSS).

The week the Design Team at 52CCT is looking for a punny holiday/funny holiday card. I have used this stamp in the past, but I just love Penny Black’s Snowy the snowman, and if you add a dog you get an extra bonus. I coloured the image with Copic markers. I cut out each scene using MFT stitched squares/rectangles. The sentiment is from SSS.

For this week’s challenge, the Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge DT, wants you to add a Reindeer. For my card, I found a piece a scrap Christmas paper for my background. Next, I added the Simon Says Stamp HOLIDAY FRAMES Craft Dies sssd111393 and the Leap Of Joy Christmas Reindeer – Penny Black Creative Dies Penny Black 51-062. My card took less than 10 minutes.
