Craftyhazelnut’s Christmas Challenge Extra – Mid-August 2017

This challenge will last for the whole month of August 2017 – anything goes as long as it’s Christmas – it doesn’t have to be a card, you can link any project as long as it’s Christmas!

Once again this year, all of these monthly challenges are being generously sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps – a winner will be randomly chosen using random.

Bugaboo Stamps are proud to sponsor this challenge – they are offering 4 digital stamps to the randomly selected winner.

For this card I used both a digi stamp and a rubber stamp. The Digi stamp is by Meljen’s Designs called, “Little Elf’s Cookie.” The rubber stamp is from Hero Arts called Christmas Cookies. I coloured both images with Copics and fussy cut them out. I assembled the card using black and sentiment patterned card stock.

Reduce, Recycle, Reuse!

I was cleaning out my files and came across a couple of old Christmas cards I thought I could rework into a new card. I added some stamped work, cut up the original card and pieced together something new.

Card 1: I added Meljen’s Designs – Little Elf’s Cookie and Hero Art’s Christmas Cookies. I entered this card into Pile it On - #47 – Recycle/Upcycle and Robyn’s Fetish Challenge – CHALLENGE # 239 – “USE A DIGI”

Card 2: I added a bird from Penny Black’s Winter Wonderland, and a sentiment from Tim Holtz - Holiday Joy die & stamp

JOY ANDBIRDCard 3: I used the deer and joy sentiment from the Tim Holtz Holiday Joy die & stamp.

UPDATE: I was selected as a Honouable Mention at Pile it On - #47 – Recycle/Upcycle

The Glory of Christmas – Challenge 46 Cookies

SidebarglorykleinerWhen I heard the challenge at The Glory of Christmas was Cookies, I had to use the Little Elf’s Cookie digi stamp by Meljen’s Designs and Christmas Cookies stamp by Hero Arts. I coloured both images with Copics markers. I added ribbon and bow to the card to resemble a wrapped present.  The sentiment is by Dee’s Distinctively Dies.

This challenge will run from November 9th until November 22th. I look forward to seeing your entries at The Glory of Christmas.
