This week at Crazy Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge the theme is “Add a House or Two”. I decided to use an older Hero Arts stamp called Snowing Village CG396. Using my Misti, I stamped the images several times to ensure I got a black sky. I coloured the houses using Copic markers and added some ice stickles. I mounted the images on two different papers from my stash. The sentiment is from SSS.

This week the 52CCT
Design Team is challenging you to make a white on white Christmas card. I used two dies sets to create my round card. I started with cutting two circles, and the beautiful snowflake circular die cut using Snowflake Circle by Spirit of Christmas Precious Marieke. To add the bird I using the dies only from Hero Arts – Die and Clear Acrylic Stamp Set – Dimensional Bird. To attach the circles to form the card, I scored the inside (back) circle about 1/2 inch down and used Be Creative tape to glue the two together.
I look forward to seeing your creations!
This week the C.R.A.F.T. Design Team is challenging you to think of Three of a Kind. For my card, I decided to try out my new Altenew Layering Stamp – Tulip Stamp Set. I love tulips. They are my favorite flowers! With this stamp set, you stamp various coloured inks (Hero Arts/Stampin’ Up) in layers vs hand colouring the image. I used my Misti to help me line up the stamps and I think I did a pretty good job on my first attempt. The grass was created using a Lawn Fawn die.
Each week, we have wonderful prizes that are generously supplied by our sponsors. Please take a moment to check out the fabulous stamps at Rick St. dennis Digital Stamps
This challenge will last for the whole month of August 2017 – anything goes as long as it’s Christmas – it doesn’t have to be a card, you can link any project as long as it’s Christmas!
Once again this year, all of these monthly challenges are being generously sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps – a winner will be randomly chosen using random.
Bugaboo Stamps are proud to sponsor this challenge – they are offering 4 digital stamps to the randomly selected winner.
For this card I used both a digi stamp and a rubber stamp. The Digi stamp is by Meljen’s Designs called, “Little Elf’s Cookie.” The rubber stamp is from Hero Arts called Christmas Cookies. I coloured both images with Copics and fussy cut them out. I assembled the card using black and sentiment patterned card stock.

This week we challenge you to make a card using the colors we posted. I decided I would try to match the inks using peg stamps and creating my own images. I made more than one image and used a number of the colors from the challenge. The stamps I used are from Card-io Clear Stamp sets and Majestix Peg Stamps for Papercraft. I used my Hero Art Ink pads, and the sentiments are from Hero Arts and Simon Says Stamps.
Please support our weekly and monthly sponsors who generously supply our weekly and monthly prizes.
