For my card for the Recipe Challenge, I used:
1) an image from Digital Delights called Christmas Bongo
2) two paper ribbon trims from KaiserCraft
3) three patterned papers from my stash
4) gold button I created from MFT Die
I hand coloured the dog using my Spectrum Noir markers. I also printed the image on three patterned papers which I paper pieced for his scarf, hat, and Christmas stocking. I Added a button as the hat’s pom-pom. I fussy cut out the dog and layered him on various papers from my stash. The sentiment was computer generated.

This week’s challenge is a Sketch Challenge. I used Barnaby Bee by Digital Delights. I coloured Barnaby with my Copic markers and added sparkle to his wings with clear Wink of Stella. I layered him using dimensionals to make him pop off the cards and created the background with paper from my stash. The final touch was three gems.

Thanksgiving in Canada was last month, but I had 4 of these cute little turkeys stamped so I decided to colour them up and make a couple thankful cards for my card stash. I made 4 cards in total and changed them up each time. I used a great little stamp from Digital Delights called Tiny the Turkey. The sign was blank and I added the “eat beef”.

Tomorrow marks Thanksgiving in Canada. I had the big dinner tonight and invited my Bestie, her mother, brother, niece, and grand-niece (2 1/2 years old) for dinner. I haven’t put on a large spread for some time, so I pulled out all the stops…fancy china, silverware, charger plates, table decor, etc.
Being a paper crafter, I just had to make place cards and an extra little something for the baby. For the mini treat bag, I used a die set from MFT - Die-namics Paper Bag Treat Box and Paper Bag Peek-a-Boos. I made it out of kraft paper to resemble a paper bag. The place cards were made with a digi from Digital Delights called Tiny the Turkey, and I used the Small Easel by Tim Holtz to stand them up. I coloured them with Copics and added a bow to the little girl’s turkey.
I entered my place card table decorations into Crafting When We Can – Name it Challenge
