Challenge 97 at Simply Create Too invites you to make a card with the theme, “BABY, IT’S COLD OUTSIDE”. I used this wonderful little digi stamp called, On the Lookout by Delicious Doodles. I added minimal colour to the image with my Copic markers, keeping to cool greens/blues. I frame the image with Memory Box – Frostyville border also in the cool tones. I was trying to depict a cold frosty morning. The stamp is from Hero Arts.
Our challenge runs from October 23rd until November 5th. Please join us.
Challenges I entered:
Christmas Card Challenges #46 — Inspiration Photo (used outdoor and blue theme)
ABC Christmas Challenge - U is for /unusual Christmas Colours (blue tones)
Merry Monday Christmas Challenge #176 – Frame it (top of image framed with snow border, and there is a blue border /frame around the image)
I love the digis at Delicious Doodle – AKA: ArtiDoodles. I made this card using one of her stamps called Fae. I coloured her with Copics, added a little glossy accents to her eyes, and glitter to her wings. Because the image is so detailed. I opted for a simple card front.
I entered my card into the following challenges:
Get Creative Challenge – Ch. #16- Must Include Butterflies
The current challenge at The Glory of Christmas is Challenge 59 – Anything Goes (as long as it is Christmas). For my card, I went very whimsical, using non-traditional colours. I love working wih blue tones, and these adorable birds worked great with my concept. I used two digis stamps that I coloured with Copic markers: From the Heart - For Santa Birdbrain & Delicious Doodles – Peacock Feather.
Please join us. The challenge runs from May 17th until May 29th.
For our challenge this week at C.R.A.F.T. we want your project to be inspired by film. I made a fun little card featuring Hobbybook‘s digital stamp - Jolly Santa. I started by colouring old St. Nick with Copic Markers. I layered two different Christmas papers for the background, and joined them with a punch scalloped border from American Craft. The Joy sentiment is from Tim Holtz’s. For added fun I mounted Santa on an Action Wooble, and he jiggles back and forth! With so many Santa Claus movies, it was hard not to be inspired by them all, but I have to say my most favourite is the classic – Miracle on 34th Street (1947)
Please join us March 26th until April 1st.

Christmas Card Challenge – Anything Goes
For the next two weeks, the challenge at Glory of Christmas is Dots and Stripes. I decided on a window themed card. I keep the design fairly simple. I used a stamp from Delicious Doodles called A Robin’s Christmas. I coloured the Christmas ornaments red, but left the rest of the image black and white. I framed the image with the small Memory Box – Madison Window Die. For my Dots and Stripes, I embossed the background wall using two folders: small dot pattern and a stripe pattern. I used three stickers from Kaisercraft to finish off the card.
The challenges runs from January 25th until February 6th. I hope you will join us!
I entered this card into the following challenges:
