This week at 52CCTC, our Design Team is asking you to create a Christmas Card using only Black, White and one other colour. I chose Red. Penny Black’s – Snowy is my favourite Christmas Stamp. Last year they came out with the matching die with 2 snowflakes. I added colour to the stamped image with Copic markers and cardstock from my stash.
I hope you will join us.
For this week’s challenge, the C.R.A.F.T. Design Team is looked for a Christmas themed card. I made my two cards using the Star Pixie and the Star Pixie Trio from Rick St Dennis. I had these adorable pixies and had the use them both. I coloured them with Copic markers, then layered them on cardstock from my stash. For the single pixie, I also added some Wink of Stella clear.
Please support our weekly/monthly sponsors who graciously provide our fabulous prizes. Check out Rick’s website by clicking on the box below.
Our monthly challenge at Simply Create Too! is to create a bookmark. Well, I couldn’t just make a bookmark, I had to make a card with a bookmark, then a separate bookmark to match the same theme. For my project, I used stamps from Honey Bee Stamps - UNDER THE SEA and ZEN OCEAN. I started by stamping the Zen Sea with Versamark Ink, adding black embossing powder then colouring it with TH Oxide Inks. The mermaids were embossed with gold embossing powder and coloured with Copic markers. Next I fussy cut them out and set aside. I used an older die and stamp set from Our Daily Bread to make the bookmarks (retired). I also used a you sentiment from SSS and Celebrate die set from Hero Arts.

The CHNCCC is to make a card for a man or boy. What could be better than polar bears skating, fishing, or just hanging around! I used MFT - BB Polar Bear Pals. I absolutely adore this set of stamps, and it is so hard to select just one bear, so I used them all! I coloured them with Copic markers and added an embossed sentiment from SSS – Small Folded Banners Holiday set.
Please join us each week for a different Christmas Card Challenge!
This is my final week of picking the 52CCT Challenges. I am asking you to “shop your stash” and use some Christmas stickers in your card making. I always buy lots of stickers at the end of each season. These were purchased at Dollar Tree. My stamp to called Snow Family and it is by Penny Black Stamps. I coloured the family with Copic Markers, added the snowflake and sentiment stickers from my stash, and made my card from grey cardstock.
Please join us each week to have fun creating your Christmas card collection.
