This week at 52 Christmas Card Challenge we are looking for a Snarky/Funny themed card. When I think snarky, I automatically think of Bugaboo Digital Stamps! They have some of the funniest characters! I used the stamp, Gus Birthday – Old Fart. I changed his hat from a birthday hat to a Santa hat, coloured the image with my Copics, and created my own sentiment based on a wall hanging I saw this past Christmas at Bouclair’s.
Please join us each week for a new and fun challenge. Before you know it, you’ll have your 2019 Christmas cards made!
For our CRAFT challenge this week, Jo is inviting everyone to design a card based on a recipe. It must include an image, 2 ribbons, and 3 patterned papers. This challenge was especially fun as I used papers designed by our own Design Team Leader, Jo at Trimgym’s Digistamps, Papers and Images. For my image, I used a cute mouse and snowflake by Penny Black that I coloured with my Copics.
Please support our wonderful sponsors who generously provide our weekly/monthly prizes.
This week’s challenge at Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge is to make a card using a snowman. I am using a cute digi from From the Heart* called, FtHS Dancing Snowman_Boom Box. I coloured it with Copics Markers and added a little glossy accents to highlight the Boom Box. *Note: From The Heart Stamps has now closed. Sadly the extremely talents artist passed away and her website was shut down.

This week at Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge we are looking for a Funny Card. I love Gus by Bugaboo Stamps, they always make me laugh. For this card, I used GC going to town. I coloured him with Copics and added Glossy Accents to his glasses.

This week we are looking for Christmas card based on a sketch by 52CCTC
Design Team member EK. To make my card I started with using one of my sunshine burst dies. Once I paper pieced it together, I cut it on the diagonal. I layered it on matching patterned paper and added a large 2.5 inch circle cut with a round punch. The sentiment is from Technique Tuesdays. I added The manger image is a rubber stamp from Hambo called, “Manger”. I coloured the image with Copics.
We look forward to seeing your Christmas Cards and helping you build your 2019 CC stash!
