This week’s challenge at CRAFT is based on an inspirational picture of a summer harbour. We are looking for your take on this subject. Whether you show us water, summer fun, boats, etc, I decided to take the challenge quite literally. I just got back from a fabulous vacation in Newfoundland, Canada. “The Rock” they call the province, is a real hidden gem. The harbour in my photo is from an area/town called Bonavista. It is a picture perfect little community full of wonderful people. I made this card to send to a special little girl I met there. The duck is a fun little Bugaboo digital stamp I coloured with my Copic markers, and the Hello die cut is from MFT.
Please support our fabulous sponsors who provide our weekly and monthly prizes. This week our sponsor is Bugaboo Digital Stamps.
This week’s challenge at CHNCCC, we are looking for Winter Fun. When I was little, I loved going outside, no matter how cold it was. We had an outdoor skating rink and I skated every day. I picked an adorable skating bird by Bugaboo Stamps called Winbird Skate. I coloured the bird with Copic markers and cut him out using a large 3″ punch. I purposely cut off the right edge to make the card more interesting. The papers are from my stash.
Join us every week, and we will help you build your Christmas card stash.
It is time for our monthly Colour Challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. We are looking for some very bright and lively colours this week. I selected a fun digi stamp from Bugaboo Stamps called Trop Santa Suntan. I coloured him with my Copic markers, fuzzy cut him out and used various papers from my stash. The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn – Toboggan Together Set.
Please join us weekly for our fun Christmas Card Challenges!

Can you believe it? CRAFT Challenge is already 9 years old. Originally started by Tracy from Just Tracy Crafts and with a DT mostly recruited from Trimcraft forum members (Hence the term CRAFT Challenge, which stood for Crafters Residing Are Friendly Trimmies. Or if you wished alternative meaning of Can’t Remember A Flipping Thing) on the 4th of May 2009.
We have now grown to be a large team of Design Team Members from all around the world, supplemented with several Guest Designers who join us for a month or a week at a time.
We have always welcomed all kinds of craft, not just paper craft (unless specifically stated so in the challenge at the time) and are happy to have such a large group of faithful followers.
So, how are we going to celebrate this milestone?
Well, how else can we celebrate than to have our yearly Blogaversary Blog Hop?
We all feature sponsors for this blog hop on our blogs and I have the honour of featuring and offering a prize from the following sponsor. You can win this prize by adding your name to Inlinkz at the end of this post. I would love to see your comments as well.
The sponsor on my blog is Bugaboo Stamps
You can Win 4 digi stamps from Bugaboo Stamps by adding your name to the Inlinkz at the end of this post.*
How can you get to win any of the prizes provided by our sponsors?
That is easy! Just follow the route on our blog hop, Our Blog Hop lasts for the duration of this challenge, which means a closing time of Wednesday 6pm GMT on the 16th of May 2018.
And here are our little rules for this challenge/blog hop
The rules this year are very simple:
- Make a project for this challenge and your entry will be put in the random draw for the prize by Bugaboo Stamps.
- Visit the blogs of our DT and enter into their Inlinkz to be put in the random draw for the prize on their blog.
- The Top 3 will again be chosen as every week as well.
- No sentence hunting this year I am afraid.
And here is my project for this week, hope you like it.
I created my card using Bugaboo’s Digital Stamp - Birthday Unicorn Set. Because it is our 9th Anniversary, I added images to both the front and inside of my card. I coloured the images with Copic markers, then added clear Wink of Stella for that magical feeling. The happy birthday die cuts are by Lawn Fawn.
