I am back from my trip to Russia—Amazing! And decided I need to get back to crafting. My first card was designed for the Nordic Christmas Challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. I was on a timeline, so I made on this card in less than 15 minutes. I used a new Christmas Paper pack – Simple Stories – Cozy Christmas – 6×6 Paper Pad. I fussy cut the “Joy” sentiment from the same paper pad. I used two dies – Deer Trio by Memory Box and Birch Trees by Impression Obsession.
I also entered this card into Christmas Stampin’ All Year Long – non Traditional Colours (brown/neutral tones), Jingle Belles – three different patterned papers (I used three different papers from the paper pad-one for the snowflake background, one for the textured snow, and one for the sentiment.), Winter Wonderland – layer it up (I layered the background, one snow hill, the trees, another snow hill, the deer, the birds, and finally the sentiment), and Sweet Stamping Christmas – Christmas Critters (deer and cardinals)
UPDATE: I received an Honourable Mention for my card at Nordic Christmas Challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown.
