Nuts about Nutting, Julie that is.

Last year Prima Marketing designer, Julie Nutting developed a series of “Prima Dolls”. They are large stamps that remind you of paper dolls. The cards, tags, and multi-media artwork I have seen with these stamps are limitless!

In 2013 there were 11 dolls released. I  purchased them all because they are all too stinking cute. For my first “dolls designs” I was inspired by the months of the year, so I made tag for January-New Year’s Day, February-Valentine’s Day, March-St. Patrick’s Day, April-Easter, May-Victoria Day, June-Prom/Wedding, July-Canada Day, August-Summer Daze, September-Back to School, October-Halloween/Fall, November-Remembrance Day, and December-Winter. I used the prima tags as base/backing and just went with what motivated me.

January - Bring in the New YearFebruary - SweetheartMarch - St. Paddy's Day

April - EasterMay - Victoria DayJune - Bride_Prom

July - Canada Day (2)August - Summer DazeSeptember-Back to School

October - Trick or TreatNovember - RemembranceDecember - Winter is here

Prima Marketing and Julie introduced a whole new “doll” line at CHA 2014 and I am patiently waiting for my local scrapbook store to get them in stock. One of my highlights this summer will be a cruise to Alaska with Julie and 20 other crafters. Wow talk about an everything cruise.

The last doll tag I made for my friend, Pheobe. The Prima doll’s name is also Pheobe so I thought it was a perfect match. I did the design with a marine theme because she loves dolphins and whales.

Fin-tastic friend

I had my prima doll collection selected by the General Stamping forum at Splitcoast Stampers as one of their Favorites of the Week ending March 2, 2014. For more information see:
