Happy Canada Day 2014

In Canada, we celebrate Canada’s Birthday July 1 of each year! To mark this occasion, I created two Canadian Birthday Cards. I created them using a single sheet of card stock, and added texture and depth with ink. I pulled out all my Maple leaf stamps and made two Red & White cards.

My G-son celebrated in style…I had to include his picture because he was too darn cute!

I entered my cards into the following challenges:

Catherine & Cathy Create - ”National Pride” July 2014 CCC 037 challenge

Addicted to Stamps – Make Your Mark My mark was stamps and ink

CAS on Sunday – Birthday  Celebrating Canada’s Birthday

One-Layer Simplicity – Wave the Flag The Canadian Flag is red & white with a Maple Leaf

Curtain Call – Birthday Bash! vs paper balls, I used maple leaves!

UPDATE: My vertical card was selected twice at a Favorite of the Week ending July 6, 2014.
