My little dog, Fuji, is getting older (seventeen) and he likes spending his day eating, sleeping, and ruling the house. I was inspired to do a couple of challenges today and use Fuji as my muse. I used SSS -Pillow Talk, Penny Black – Contented Dog, and Memory Box – L. Hayward Chair.
At Crazy for CAS, their inspiration photo was 3 pillows, a coloured dots, stripes. and two tone dots. I paper pieced the same 3 patterned pillow combo in my card this week.
This week’s Fusion Card challenge involved various zigzag designs, so I paper pieced four zigzagged pillow covers for the little dog to sleep on. If you want to see Fuji pillow sleeping, check out my “let sleeping dog lay” page.
Fuji has his favorite spots to sleep, and they usually are my favorites too. I have a wall hanging with the same sentiment I computer generated for this card. It is funny, but true. I designed that card for the Giggle challenge over on the Male Room blog . I also uploaded this card to Outlawz weekly greeting card challenge.
UPDATE: My “move the dog” card was selected as a CAS Favorite at Splitcoast Stampers for the week ending May 3, 2014. for more information see post#11 at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/general-stamping-talk-f17/clean-simple-cas-favorites-week-ending-5-4-14-a-t587273.html
