This week at Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge we are looking for a project theme with something beginning with the letter S. I decided to make a card with a (S)nowman on it. I used a SVG file from Jamie and Jenn Designs called Snowman Window Lever Card.
I added texture to the snowman with an embossing folder. The sticker came with those address labels various charities fundraise with. They are perfect to use as sentiments on cards. Making this card with my Cricut was Easy Peasy.
I look forward to seeing your entries.
Joseph’s Coat Technique
How to Directions:
Netta from the 52CCT Design Team is inviting us to try a new technique. I have provided some directions on how to do the technique above. I went in a slightly different direction. I used Distress Inks and sponged them on Neenah White Cardstock in various colours. Next, I stamped a bear, bucket of fish, and tree in Versamark ink and embossed in clear powder. Next, I blended Versamark black ink over the cardstock. Finally, I wiped the ink off the embossed images with a paper towel. The bears are from MFT (My Favorite Things POLAR BEAR PALS), the trees (Clearly Besotted LET’S PRANCE) and sentiment by SSS.

This week at Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge, we are looking for a Christmas project using embossing. I chose to do a dry embossing project using an embossing folder. The folder is a retired Stampin’ Up, Northern Flurries, and a retired digi file by From the Heart (Unfortunately this digi file artist passed away and her site has been closed.)

This week at Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge we are looking for a card for a lady or girl. Everyone female no matter the age loves Hello Kitty. I used a Christmas Hello Kitty cartridge by Cricut for my Circut Explore Air. Isn’t she super cute!
