This will be my final card I make as a member of the C.R.A.F.T. Design Team. It has been a fabulous 4.5 years and I will truly miss working with Jo and her wonderful team. The C.R.A.F.T. challenge this week is to distress our project. I used a SVG digital file simply called Ice Skate card delightful cut by Digital Delights by Louby Loo. I downloaded the project to Cricut Design Space and cut out the pieces. Before assembling the skate I distressed and inked each piece using the Tim Holtz distress blade tool and Distress ink. Vs using the circle holes for the skate, I opted to use my We R Memory Keeping Eyelet punch and used twine laces. I added a Merry tag by Kaisercraft.

Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge 434 – include a house or other building

CHNC blog button DT

The Design Team at CHNCC is looking for a card with a house or houses. I decided to make a huge card using my Cricut and an SVG file from My Scrap Chick called Village Card. You can make this card as big or small as you want. I went with 7 houses, switching them up using pre-textured cardstock and smooth cardstock. I used stickers to decorate the doors, and sentiment by Penny Black. The full card fits into a 8.5 x 11 inch envelop.

52 Christmas Card Challenge – 52CCT15-19 – April 20th – Theme: Snarky

This week at 52 Christmas Card Challenge we are looking for a Snarky/Funny themed card.  When I think snarky, I automatically think of Bugaboo Digital Stamps! They have some of the funniest characters! I used the stamp, Gus Birthday – Old Fart. I changed his hat from a birthday hat to a Santa hat, coloured the image with my Copics, and created my own sentiment based on a wall hanging I saw this past Christmas at Bouclair’s.

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge 510 – 18th of April – Recipe

For our CRAFT challenge this week, Jo is inviting everyone to design a card based on a recipe. It must include an image, 2 ribbons, and 3 patterned papers. This challenge was especially fun as I used papers designed by our own Design Team Leader, Jo at Trimgym’s Digistamps, Papers and Images.  For my image, I used a cute mouse and snowflake by Penny Black that I coloured with my Copics.

52 Christmas Card Challenge – 52CCT14-19 – April 13th – Colour Challenge – Metallic and one Colour

For this week’s Colour Challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown we are looking for a card made with one metallic and one colour. I selected gold and black as my metallic and colour.  Crafting friends of mine have started their own Canadian Crafting Company. Currently, their own uniquely designed dies are limited editions and are sold to friends and family only. I purchased a number of their dies and they are all fabulous. This one is simply called Christmas Antler. The Sentiment die is from Dee’s Distinctively Die.deer in black and gold
