This week at CHNCC, we are looking for a Christmas or New Year Card. I just had to use this happy little Holiday Snack. The sentiment is from MFT and digi is from Whimsey Doodles called Cocoa with friends. I coloured him with Copics, fussy cut him out and added him to Christmas paper from my stash.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
The Craftyhazelnut’s Christmas Challenge is to use the word Christmas. I started with one of my favourite digi stamps from Bugaboo Stamps (retired) called “Window Santa”. I coloured the image with Copic markers, fussy cut out the window and set aside. Next, I tried to create a background to look like the inside of a home. I used non-traditional Christmas colours for the walls and home decor. I added the window slightly off centre. Finally, I added a diecut Merry Christmas sentiment to complete the challenge.

This week’s challenge at CHNCC is to make a Christmas project using “Things with Wings”. I immediately thought of Birds. I love this little bird digi by Bugaboo Stamps. I have the whole series with the bird tobogganing, skating, in a snowglobe, and more. I coloured him using my Derwent Inkintense watercolour pencils, patterned paper and stickers from my stash.
Please join us. We have a new challenge every week!
Here we are at the last challenge of the year and as the last challenge, we are running it for the next 3 weeks. The final challenge is totally open and anything goes. I made an adorable little “Woof” dog card (SVG) designed by The Cutting Cafe.
I used the SVG cut file from The Cutting Cafe and my Cricut Air Explore machine to make the card. I cut various dog themed papers from my stash, plus to stamped dogs to decorate.

This week, Craftyhazelnut’s Christmas Challenge is to Add Gems or Pearls. I started by selecting a wonderful little digi by Bugaboo Stamps, called Scene it – Snowmen fun. I coloured the digi using Copic markers. I cut down the image to fit the width of my card and added pearls. The paper to from my stash.
