This challenge will last for the whole month of August 2017 – anything goes as long as it’s Christmas – it doesn’t have to be a card, you can link any project as long as it’s Christmas!
Once again this year, all of these monthly challenges are being generously sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps – a winner will be randomly chosen using random.
Bugaboo Stamps are proud to sponsor this challenge – they are offering 4 digital stamps to the randomly selected winner.
For this card I used both a digi stamp and a rubber stamp. The Digi stamp is by Meljen’s Designs called, “Little Elf’s Cookie.” The rubber stamp is from Hero Arts called Christmas Cookies. I coloured both images with Copics and fussy cut them out. I assembled the card using black and sentiment patterned card stock.

For this week’s challenge, I decided to try out a couple of dies I have. I started by embossing the background with one of my stash folders. Next I die cut a trellis (by Impression Obsessions) out in black and a garden trellis (by Poppy Stamps)out in white. I liked the different effects of each so I decided on making 2 cards vs one. Next I made 4 purple cone-flowers/stem and leaves made with Elizabeth Craft designs. The sentiment is by Penny Black. I added ribbon and pre-made kraft butterflies from my stash

I love Bugaboo Digital Stamps. One series they had (now retired) were the Tropical Santa series showing Santa relaxing by the pool, suntanning, or in the case of my card surfing. This stamp was called, “TropSantaSurf.” I brightly coloured him with my Copic Markers, I fussy cut him out and set him aside. Next I die cut a Sun from MFT – Sun and Moon, and die cut the water using Marianne’s Designs – Elina’s Whale. I look forward on your take(s) on the challenge,
This week we challenge you to make a card using the colors we posted. I decided I would try to match the inks using peg stamps and creating my own images. I made more than one image and used a number of the colors from the challenge. The stamps I used are from Card-io Clear Stamp sets and Majestix Peg Stamps for Papercraft. I used my Hero Art Ink pads, and the sentiments are from Hero Arts and Simon Says Stamps.
