This week’s challenge is COLOUR COMBO. We challenge you to use all the colours in the challenge above.
For the challenge, I broke out my Spectrum Noir markers. I used a pretty digi called, “Love the Shop” by one of this week’s sponsors, All Dressed Up. I used all the colours for their outfits, plus additional colours for hair and faces. The sentiment is from SSS.
Please check out all the wonderful Digital stamps from our sponsors who generously provide our weekly/monthly prizes.
This challenge will last for the whole month of January 2017 – anything goes as long as it’s Christmas – it doesn’t have to be a card, you can link any project as long as it’s Christmas!
Once again this year, all of these monthly challenges are being generously sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps - a winner will be randomly chosen using random.
Bugaboo Stamps are proud to sponsor this challenge – they are offering $21 of digital stamps to the randomly selected winner.
For this month’s card, I used “Plush Ornament” by Bugaboo (retired). I coloured him with my Derwent Watercolour Inktense pencils. I attached him to a snow covered tree background paper from my stash and added a Merry Christmas Sticker from Kaisercraft.
Note: While this particular stamp has been discontinued, Bugaboo has a similar stamp called Rudolph – ornament.
Please support our sponsor. Bugaboo stamps add new images weekly. They also have great sales and weekly freebies so you can try them out!
Note: Hazel also runs two other challenges -
For our current challenge, the Design Team decided on a musical theme. For my card, I automatically thought of Christmas Carols. I started with card stock with a collage of song sheets. I added a little distress ink – Tea Dye and Vintage Photo. Next I found this adorable stamp by Heather Ellis. Heather designs for MFT, releasing a new Pure Innocence stamp every month, but this stamp is now retired. Good news though – you can however still get it in a digi stamp format at Heather’s Etsy site at https://www.etsy.com/shop/digistampcharacters . I coloured the little Caroler using my Copics markers, fussy cut him out, then layered him on the card base on top of a small stitched circle (MFT die) . The die cut sentiment is from Impression Obsession.
