CRAFT – Challenge 396 – 29th of December – Anything Goes

I am still in the Christmas card mode so here is my last Christmas card of 2016. I used Sweet Stamps – Hawaiian Christmas Reindeer #3 because it shows a little reindeer having a break after Christmas.

I used Spectrum Noir markers to colour the little reindeer, a wooden poloriod camera, and some twine on card one, and a tag from Kaisercraft on card two. I find it amazing how you can change the feelings of a card by the paper pattern you use.

CRAFT – Challenge 395 – 22nd of December – Anything Goes

DTbadgeAs the year draws to an end, you have to start thinking of cards for 2017. I love all the Ewe stamps by Bugaboo Stamps. I have them all! Today I used Wishing Ewe! This is a great stamp because you can say Wishing Ewe Happy Birthday, Happy Valentine’s Day, you were here! etc….

I coloured the little sheep using my Spectrum Noir markers to colour my shhep and some glimmer with Wink of Stella Clear. I also embossed one sheep and debossed the other with a flowered embossing folder.

Announcement! Proud to join the 52CCT Design Team

CCT - Design For Badge

I am very excited to be joining the 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown Design Team starting in 2017. I have been a fan of their card challenge and now to join their team is pretty exciting. I made a card to honour their current challenge – Pick a Previous Challenge and for my card I used Theme – Christmas Critters – from October 2016.

I challenged myself to break out my dies, punches, patterned papers, etc. I picked up a great die from Sizzix called - FOX LABEL FOLD A LONG Thinlits Die Set. I made him a white/silver fox and the inside sentiment is from SSS.

C.R.A.F.T. – Challenge 394 – 15th of December – Christmas

Our challenge for this week is Christmas. I recently took a workshop with Keren Tamir from Prima and she showed us various ways to make multi-media tags and cards. We used various foil rub-ons, sprays, flowers, pastes, pearls, ribbons, etc. Here are my cards and tags.

Merry Christmas from Taylor and Swiff

I took the puppies up to the Mall last night to get their photo taken with Santa. All in all it was prety good, but Taylor decided to poop on the floor minutes after we arrived. I had had them outside for 30 minutes prior to leaving! Thank goodness for doggy bags!
