We are challenging you this week to make a Christmas card. You can never start your Christmas stash too early. I used JINGLE SNOWMAN by Pickled Potpourri Designs. I created the design in my computer. First I used “Jingle”. Then I copied another one but mirrored him diagonally. Finally I added the snowflake in the middle creating my final design. I coloured the image with Copic markers. I made three versions: Red, Blue and Green. I used 3 sentiments from Impression Obsession, and varied each card slightly by adding ribbon, snowflake, etc.

“Buttons and Bows” is our new theme. I created a Christmas card featuring a button Christmas tree. I used a great stamp I have from Hero Arts called, ” Merry Christmas Tree Stamp and Die sets.” I stamps the tree directly onto the patterned paper. I coloured the trunk with a Copic marker, and glued on buttons and gems. To finish the card, I added a ribbon and bow.
Please join us. The challenge runs from JUNE 10th TO JUNE 24th.
For our current challenge, we looked for inspiration Inspired by a Film. I love all the “Gus” characters by Bugaboo Stamps. For my card I used Gus Birthday – Golden Years and I automatically thought of the movie “Grumpy Old Men.” I coloured him with Copic markers. The birthday sentiment is from Hero Arts.
Please check this stamp and other from Bugaboo Stamps. Ad support our weekly/monthly sponsors who graciously provide our wonderful prizes.
For Challenge #86 the GoC Design team challenges you to make a card that does use patterned paper. I love this little mouse stamp by Penny Black called “Xmouse Ornament”. I coloured him with Copic markers. Next I stamped the snowflake background and sentiment from Avery Elle Stamps, “LET IT SNOW” set. I finally added various snowflake die cuts from Paper Smooches and Marianne Designs.
Our challenges runs from June 6th until June 17th

For this week’s challenge, I created a digital card. I used a series of digital images from Bearing Gifts By Scrapper’s Delights (Sdjpc0156-retired). I was going the print the bear with gifts image, but my colour printer has been given me issues aligning the images on paper correctly so I decided to try to make a fully digital card. All the images are pre-coloured. I used 4 of the present digi stamps to create the patterned paper, plus a solid red and green paper I used in the layering. The “ribbon” is on the digital presents, I created 3 black gems on the right side. I hope you like my attempt.
Please support our wonderful sponsor. Without them, we would not be able to provdie our wonderful weekly prizes.
