This week the Design Team challenges you to re-purpose an old Christmas card. I received a wonderful card with a beautiful red folded door that was the perfect size for one of Prima’s Julie Nutting’s Dolls. I selected “Tasha”. I stamped her on a lightly patterned Prima tag ans coloured her hair and shaded the body with Copic markers. Next I stamped the dress on two different patterned papers and paper pieced the dress on the doll figure. I fussy cut her out and glued to the Christmas card. For the final touches, I added a few gems for earrings, necklace, and belt.

I entered this card into the HLS March Christmas Challenge @ http://www.happylittlestampers.com/2016/03/hls-march-christmas-challenge.html
Note: My card was selected as a “Favourite” at the HLS March Christmas Challenge
This week’s challenge gets you ready for Spring/Easter. I chose a fun sheep digi stamp by Bugaboo called, “Happy Easter to ewe“. Bugaboo has a hold series with this adorable sheep and friends. I coloured the image with Copic markers, layered it on the card stock from my stash and added a computer generated sentiment.

This week’s Challenge at CRAFT is a Sketch Challenge. I modified the sketch to fit a standard A2 card. I used an adorable digi stamp by our sponsor – All Dressed Up Stamps called, “Little Patch Puppy”. I opted to colour her with my Copics markers. I tried to create a patchwork background using card stock. I also thought this little puppy would be wonderful enlarged to 5 x 5 size and paper pieced. I added a sentiment tag I had already had made up and vs using buttons, I used gem.
Make sure to check out the other wonderful digi stamps that All Dressed Up have available. Please support our wonderful sponsors who graciously supply our weekly prizes.
