The current challenge over at The Glory of Christmas is Feature a Creature (add an animal). I purchased this adorable Marianne Design Collectables Die – Eline’s Polar Bear. I cut him out of white card stock and coloured it with Copics. I added stickles to his hat for that little extra. I layered him on patterned and white card stock. I further created a scene used both the large and small Dee’s Distinctively SNOW COVERED TREE Dies, and Memory Box EVERGREEN LANDSCAPE craft die.
Our challenge runs from July 12th until July 24th – Please join us.
This week’s challenge at C.R.A.F.T. is a Thank You card. I made two separate cards using our sponsor’s – A Day for Daisies – digi stamps. I sent for a CAS design with both cards.
For card one, I used “Mr. Rooster. I hand coloured him with Copic markers. The sentiment is by Papertrey Ink – Wet Paint Cuts III Die.
For card two, I used “Bunny Ears“. I hand coloured the image with Copics. The sentiment is by SSS – Small Thanks die.
Please support our sponsors – A Day for Daisies. Without them we would not be able to supply our wonderful prizes.
Simply Create Too – Challenge 89 GET AHEAD FOR CHRISTMAS is to make a card for Christmas. I decided to get ahead with making a cute child friendly card. I ordered this stamp from Hambo Stamps. It is called Snow Heart. While Hambo lists this as a Valentine’s Day card, I see it more as a Christmas card. All the kids now wear those cute animal hats. I coloured the character with Copics, and simply layered her on my card using papers from my stash.
Please join us from July 3rd until July 16th.
