The Glory of Christmas – Challenge 60 – Snowman/woman

SidebarglorykleinerChallenge 60 at The Glory of Christmas is to make a Snowman/woman. I wanted to make a non-traditional Christmas colours card and chose Framed Snowman 2 by Dilly Beans. I coloured him with bright coloured Copics and layered him on bright matching papers. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches.

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge 313 – 28th of May – Fathers’ Day/Male

This week’s challenge is Father’s Day/Male. I used an adorable digi stamp from our Star of the Month Sponsor - Melonheadz Illustrating and Doodles called Bobbleheadz RainForest Animals. This is wonderful stamp set with 12 great critters. I chose the Tiger. Because they are called Bobbleheadz, I designed my little tiger’s head to move using an action wobble. I started with colouring three tiger stamps. I cut out the head separately and attached him to the card using the action wobble. I also cut out the nose and popped it up using foam tape. I created the sentiment with my computer.

I entered my card into the following:

Crafts 4 Eternity - RECIPE #22 HIDDEN ELEMENT – Action wobble behind the head that makes the head bobble!

Aud Sentiments Challenge - #132 Cute + A Sentiment

C.R.A.F.T. – Challenge 312 – 21st of May – Christmas, no red or green

You can never start too early for Christmas cards. Making a Christmas without green or red requires a little thought. I decided to make a white and pink card in honour of my newest grand-daughter (g-daughter). I started with using my Copic markers to colour Snow Mamma by Dilly Bean Stamps. I fussy cut her out and set aside. To create the background I used two different embossing folder. I handcut the foreground snow drifts. I added some Paper Smooches pink snowflakes, and a sentiment from MFT. To finish the card I added some stickles.

Happy Birthday Dear CRAFT Challenge
Happy Birthday To Us!
Can you believe it? CRAFT Challenge is already 6 years old. Originally started by Tracy from Just Tracy Crafts and with a DT mostly recruited from Trimcraft forum members (Hence the term CRAFT Challenge, which stood for Crafters Residing Are Friendly Trimmies. Or if you wished alternative meaning of Can’t Remember A Flipping Thing) on the 4th of May 2009.
We have now grown to be a large team of Design Team Members from all around the world, supplemented with lots of Guest Designers who join us for a month at a time.
We have always welcomed all kinds of craft, not just paper craft (unless specifically stated so in the challenge at the time) and are happy to have such a large group of faithful followers.
So, how are we going to celebrate this milestone?
