As I have mentioned in previous blogs, I make cards for all the residents at the Belmont Nursing Home. There are between 125-130 residents, so I try and make individual cards for each and every one at Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter, and Fall/Halloween. Plus I make birthdays cards, thank you cards and general cards for their tuck shop and as prizes for various activities. I do this all at my own expense as a way to “Pay it Forward” for the wonderful card they extended my mother. So I am trying to get a start on Easter and you will be seeing lots of different Easter” cards over the next few weeks. I designed three different cards today.
For my first card I designed the card based on 3 different card challenges:
STAMPlorations – Challenge 28 – Sketch
If You Give a Crafter a Cookie – Challenge 12 – Photo Inspiration
Going Grey With Scrap-Creations – Bingo (Flowers/Punch/Digi Image)
To make my card I used Easter Ewe by Bugaboo Stamps, I coloured him with Copic markers. I fussy cut him out and layered him on an embossed folder background and added some punch flowers by Nellie Snellen. The sentiment is from PI.

My second card is based on two challenges:
Cute As A Button Stamps Challenge #6 – Dies – Birds and the Bees Theme (Photo Inspiration)
Sketchtanten (Sketch Aunts) – Challenge 6 Sketch
To make my card, I used Spring Bird – bird nest by Bugaboo Stamps. I coloured the image with Copic markers. Next I fussy cut it out and layered it on my background design. I finished it with some punched flowers bu Nellie Snellen 2-step punches. The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn.

My third card is based on Try Stamping on Tuesday – Challenge 206 Sketch
To make my card I used POLKAB sit by Bugaboo Stamps. I coloured the bunny with Copics. I layered her on my background. I used Memory Box TRELLIS BORDER die, MFT Leaf Flourish, and my favorite 2 step floral/leaf punches by Nellie Snellen. The sentiment is from PI.

Update: My second card placed top three in Cute As A Button Stamps Challenge #6 – Dies – Birds and the Bees Theme (Photo Inspiration)
My third card placed top three in Try Stamping on Tuesday – Challenge 206 Sketch
