The second card I made in the series is all white. I layered die cuts to form an array of leaves, added a bow and die cut sentiment. This was a super easy and fast card to make up. I die cut two of each of the branches, and the sentiment. I cut out a A2 card base. I also cut a 4.25 x 5.5 and 4 x 5.25 textured white card stock for layering. I arranged the branches (I did trim them and rearrange them for a better composition), glued them, added the sentiment and bow and that was it. All in under 10 minutes. Now I only made one card like this, but if you were making multiples, you could likely make 10 in less than an hour.
Products I used:
Dies by Penny Black – Dancing Leaves, Love & Joy, & Holly Berries
I entered this card into Inkspirational - Christmas cards with the optional twist of no red or green. and Speed Craft Challenge – Anything goes
UPDATE: I had my card selected as one of the Top 3 at Speed Craft Challenge – Anything Goes
I wanted to make some white on white cards, and I went from Complex to a more CAS design. For my first card, I started with embossing the background with snowflakes. Next I die cut numerous shapes, floral and fauna. I added a sentiment, and some pearls.

Embossing folder by Tim holtz – Snow Flurries

This week at Cardz 4 Guyz the theme is Christmas Stocking. I went as “manly” as possible. I started with a Free Christmas Stocking Paper Piecing Pattern from A Scrap of Time. I sized it to fit an A2 card. Next I die cut a number of tools from MFT - Die-namics Tool Time. Once I assembled the stocking with tools and attached it to the card, it needed a little something extra. I decided to decorate the stocking for a handyman with a carpenter from Hambo. For the final steps, I added a loop and gift card.
I also entered this card into the following challenges:
Glitter n Sparkle Challenge – TAG IT!
Robyn’s Fetish Challenge – CHALLENGE # 239 – “USE A DIGI”
UPDATE: My card was selected as one of the Top 3 at Cardz 4 Guyz.
We were inundated with snow this past week, but today the temperatures are above freezing, so we have a sloppy wet mess going on outside. I decided to stay indoor and make a non red/green Christmas card for the Inkspirational Challenge - Christmas cards with the optional twist of no red or green.
One of my favourite Christmas Stamps in Snowy by Penny Black. He is such a happy little character. I literally made this card up in less than five minutes. I coloured him with Copics, added snowflake stickers I got from Dollar Tree, layered him on A2 card. I also used my 1/2 corner chomper to round the corners.
I also entered my card into Sweet Stampin’ Christmas – Snow People AND Speed Craft Challenge – Anything Goes
The Glory of Christmas Challenge is Mary and Joseph. I used the AKV Nativity – Mary Joseph by Bugaboo. They were handcoloured with Copics markers. I die them out using an oval die from MFT, and layered them on Spellbinders – Opulent Oval die. The sentiment is from JustRite.
I look forward to seeing your cards at The Glory of Christmas Challenging, running from November 23th until the 6th of December.
