Red Christmas

I am using another stamp I got from Lili of the Valley called (appropriately) – Christmas Candle. I coloured her with my Copic marker. The dies I used were the oval stax from MFT, and A2 Filigree Delight by Spellbinders. I added a little frosted stickles, pearls, gems, ribbon and button to finish it off. The sentiment was generated.candleI entered my card in the following challenges:

“PAH” Graffiti Dude!

OMG! I had such fun making this card. Over at Cardz 4 Guyz the Challenge is “Use Some Metal”. Well that got the creative juices following… (Did I mention, I love the challenges at Cardz 4 Guys!-CHECK them out, HERE). I used a cute little dude by Bugaboo – Cool Johnny Cool. I combined it with a graffiti stamp by Miss Muffet – pah2003. I first coloured the stamps. To make the corrugated metal fence, I used metal foil tape from the hardware store that I stuck it to a piece of card stock. I fussy cut the “pah” and stuck it on the foiled card stock. To make it look like fencing, I used my scor-pal and embossed lines. I used some metal brads for the rivets. I added a metal silver dot to Johnny ear – because the dude had to have an earring, some grass and a cat (Memory Box). The hardest thing about this card was photographing it!

Note: pah pä - exclamation: used to express disgust or contempt. ”“Pah! They know nothing.””

Holy Light

This is another one of the adorable stamps I got from Lili of the Valley Stamps. I wanted to make a white on white card (with very little colour). I coloured her with Copic makers, and added Frosted Lace and Rock Candy Stickles. I used numerous dies and punches (see list below) and a few white enamel dot accents. The sentiment with computer generated.

A Very Merry Christmas

I just received my first stamp order from Lili of the Valley, They are in the UK, but I still received my order in less than 10 days! I designed the card for ABC Christmas Challenge – V is for Very Merry Christmas. Funny thing though, with all the stamps and dies I have, I don’t have one that says Very Merry Christmas, so I had to print it from my computer. I coloured the stamp with Copics and layered it with numerous dies. I kept to a white and green colour scheme.

Get Well Kitty

I cannot take credit for the image and soft kitty song sentiment. I saw the design on t-shirts and a card on Pinterest by JanR at I used a digi stamp by Tiddly Inks, and the verse is from The Big Bang Theory, a song Sheldon wants sung to him when he is not feeling well. I coloured the Kitty with Copics, added on ribbon, and popped her up on the card. I made the verse background on the computer. I made the kitten cup in 6 different colours (because I always like to switch things up.
