This card inspiration was from a sketch at Sketch Saturday. I used a stamp from Dilly Beans Stamps called “Mummy’s Pumpkin”. I coloured him with Copic markers, added some die cut bats by Memory Box and a few black gems, along with paper from my stash.
I also entered this card into Dilly Beans: Fall Colors
My card was inspired by a sketch at Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamp Challenge 249 – Another SKETCH! I used Halloween Mummy – Trick or Treat by Bugaboo. I coloured him (isn’t he adorable!) with Copic markers. I added a doily die cut from MFT, and bats from Memory box. The paper is from my stash.
My card design was inspired by the sketch from last month’s challenge at The Kraftyhands August Challenge but I did it with fall in mind for The Kraftyhands Challenge – September Challenge – Autumn Colours. I made my card on the “rustic” side so it could be used for both a guy or gal. I used the Autumn Jar stamp by Bugaboo and coloured it with Copics. The papers are from my stash. I also entered this card into Frosted Designs – Fall
UPDATE: My card was selected as one of the Top 3 in The Kraftyhands Challenge – September Challenge – Autumn Colours.
I need to make up 140 Fall/Thanksgiving/Halloween card in the next week for the residents at the Belmont Nursing home, so the push is on. This past weekend I coloured more than 70 stamped images, and I used a number of different card “sketch” challenges to get inspiration to complete my cards.
For my first card, I used a sketch from Sketchy Colours #227. I used a digi stamp called Pumpkin Ghost by Bugaboo. I coloured him with Copic markers and used patterned paper from my stash.
I also entered this card into Aud Sentiments Challenge 16 – Halloween
The new challenge at The Glory for Christmas asks you to use fire or a fireplace. I checked my stash and didn’t have any appropriate stamps. I went on the search and found one at Tiddly Inks – Fireplace. (There is also have an optional “joy” mantle piece). I printed it twice so I could stack the stockings. I coloured it with Copics, added a little red stickles, let it dry, then fussy cut it. I had some new Christmas paper from Best Creations, and used the glittered design on the paper to accent the fireplace. I made two versions of the card. The first one I stamped “Merry” from Wplus9, and die cut “Christmas” from Dee’s Distinctively Dies. My second card, I used the sentiment that was on the paper.
This challenges run from September 28 until October 4, 2014. I look forward to seeing your creations!
