This card was created with a daring digi stamp from “From the Heart Stamps” – Bundled Up. I shot the card both indoors and outdoors…which do you like better? I entered it into the Completely Christmas #22 Challenge.

CAS-ology‘s challenge this week is Run. I decided to combine that challenge with the photo inspiration/sketch from Sketchy Colours‘ Challenge and came up with a monochromatic scene with a running gray horse. I used the Galloping horse, mini clouds & grass dies from MFT, rectangle die from Spellbinders, and hill dies from PI. I corner the under corner with my We-R-Memory Keeper corner chomper, edged the hills with w1 Copic, and coloured the horse with Copic blender, w1, w3.
I love a two-fer. That is when you can combine two challenges into one card. The sketch at Clean & Simple shows a bow detail followed by three lines of sentiment, and the Scor-pal Challenge is to use the “colours” of your country. Living in Canada, our flag colours are red and white. The red Maple leaf is dead center in the middle with two bands of red on either side. I adapted the sketch a little and centered the image vs having it slightly to the left. Vs using the red bands, I scored 4 lines on each side of the white card to represent them. I inlayed the Impression Obsession – I Love You Die. The die has a bow and three words (sentiments). And, of course, I Love Canada!
I love Sarn’s dangles at Stamping for Pleasure. This one is called Flower Dangles and I opted to colour it as a Poinsettia for a Modern Christmas Card. I added a simple sentiment on the lower left as to not detrack from the focal image. I added glossy accents, clear glossy accents, and black pearl to finish the look. I am entering this card into the Just Add Ink Challenge – Christmas #224.
I love looking for the right image to suit a sketch. That is why I love these challenges best! I used a new stamp set from Bugaboo Stamps called MS Cat Blocks. I coloured the cats with Copic markers. I put the Surprise Happy Birthday sentiment inside the card along with another cat image. I designed my card for the Pals Paper Arts Challenge #PPA213.
