Cas-ology – Week 97 – Bee

bee dayWeek 97 - Bee

This week’s challenge at CAS-ology is Bee. I made the lower patterned paper using strip stamps from SSS - NAUTICAL BORDERS & HAPPY EVERY DAY. The Bees and sentiment is also SSS – Circle Friends.

I also entered my “bee” card into the Card Concept Colour Challenge #11 – Clean and Layered

CAS – Colours & Sketches Challenge #75

CAS – Colours & Sketches Challenge #75 had an interesting challenge this week. I first made the card on plain white cardstock, but it was lacking something, so I pumped it up with using Butterfly Swirl embossing folder by Darice. In the sketch there are 4 featured elements so I highlighted 4 butterflies. I used Butterfly drift die from SSS. I also flipped the direction of the objects from top left-bottom right to bottom left-top right.

Just a Note (musical)

I tried to combine two challenges for my card. I love the sketch over at Pals Paper Arts Challenge and the photo inspiration at Fusion Card Challenge. I used IO – Cage Collage, Casual Friday Stamps – Love Notes, and Memory Box - Musical Interlude. I inked the bird image with 3 shades of brown distress inks.

AAA Cards Challenge 4 – Create!

The weekly challenge at AAA Cards is Create! I immediately thought of my cute stamps and dies from MFT – Pure Innocence Paper Dolls & You Colour my World. I also used the matching die for paper dolls. The sentiment on the second card is from Paper Smooches – I Heart Art, and the splatters are from Stampin Up – Grunge. I used Copics, distress inks, and paper piecing.

I also entered the above card into Simply Less is More - Die Cut

I also entered this card into the Outlawz Monday Greetings Challenge – Anything Goes & Addicted to Stamps – Anything goes

UPDATE: I am very excited, I won Top Honour at Addicted to Stamp Challenge #96 for my Thanks from the bottom of my he”Art”.
