Fairytale Stampers challenge #44 Use your favorite punch

Fairytale Stampers challenge #44 Use your favorite punch

I use my circle and border punches a lot, however, I love my Martha Stewart butterfly punches the most. My focal image is by A Day for Daisies – Butterfly Girl. I coloured her with Copics. I added gold Wink of Stella to her wings, and clear W of S to her dress. I added three punched butterflies from Martha Stewart - Large – Monarch & Double Monarch Butterfly punches. (I also have her 3 in 1 Classic Butterfly Punch for mini butterflies.)

I look forward to seeing your cards at the Fairytale Stampers challenge running from September 7 until September 26, 2014 at

Fairytale Stampers challenge #43 “Marina the Mermaid”

I was asked to be a Guest Designer on the Fairytale Stampers Design Team until the end of 2014. I am very honoured to be working with such a great and talented group of ladies. This is a first inspirational card. I look forward to see everyone’s entries. Join us on August 17 until September 6 at

I was in a fancy mood today so I brought out my Spellbinder dies. I have quite a stash of Spellbinder products, and tend to “hoard” them vs use them. I wanted to highlight “Marina” by Delicious Doodles. I started with colouring her with Copic markers.  Next to give it an underwater feel, I sponged on some Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean Distress Ink over the image then flicked on some water droplets. I layered the stamped images using Spellbinders - A2 Filigree Delight & Botanical Swirls and Accents. I accented the card with Shell Set dies from Impression Obsessions, pearls & gems, and Wink of Stella.
