For our current challenge, we are asking you to create a card using Pink or Red Only. Your can also use a base colour. I chose to use a white base with two shades of pink. I just got a new stamp and die set from Stampin’ Up called Bloomin’ Love Stamp Set/Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits Dies. The die set includes a separate large and small flower so I cut them out and layered them on the large floral heart. I decorated the card with a pink ribbon and mini white pearls.

For our Love/Valentine’s/Anniversary Challenge 348, I picked “Love”. I selected a cute little love bird from SamiStamps – called “Be Mine Feathers” . I coloured her in various shades of yellow with Copics, and layered her on paper from my stash. I made two variations using different “love” themed dies.

This week at CRAFT we are having a Sketch Challenge. For this challenge I used a digi stamp called Wee One Bugs – Ladybug by Bugaboo Stamps. I coloured her with Copic markers, fuzzy cut her out, then layered her on plain and scalloped rectangle die cuts from MFT. I also used 3D ladybugs and ribbon from my stash, heart die cuts from Stampin’ Up, and a sentiment from Impression Obsessions.

I love digi stamps because you can resize them! I just made two cards using Tiddly Inks – Faythe Flies. For my first card I sized her the fit a standard A2 card in full length. For the second card I enlarger her, rotated her slightly and printed only a partial image. Both cards are similar yet different.
Card 1: I coloured her with Copic markers and made her hair brown. I paper pieced the dress with the same paper I used for the background. I added a diecut butterfly, and a sentiment for Justrite.
I entered this card into the following challenges:
Aud Sentiments Challenge 133- Bingo Die Cut/Digi Stamp/Markers
Card 2: I coloured her with Copic markers, making her hair blonde. I wanted to keep the card very simple and left lots of white space. For this card I did not include a sentiment, but may do so at later date or just leave it as is.
The challenge over all Just Us Girls is Paper Piecing. I made 2 versions of my “Love is in the Air!” card. I used MFT – Pure Innocence: Love Is in the Air stamp. I coloured the girls with Copic Markers, fussy cut them out, and set them aside. I also stamped two dresses onto patterned paper, fuzzy cut them separately and paper pieced the dress onto the little girls using glue. Next I created two different backgrounds.
For the first card, I used MFT – Die-namics Cloud Cover-Up. I cut two out, one in textered white and the other in smooth blue, cardstocks. I paper pieced the white clouds into the blue cloud frame. Finally I added the sentiment, and some hearts from my stash (Stampin’ Up – Fashionable Hearts Embosslits Die).
For my second card I used a Simon Says Stamp Die – HEART PARADE to add an interesting center focal point. I cut the die out using the patterned background, as well as white, pink, and red card stocks. I paper pieced the hearts, added my little girl with paper pieced dress and the sentiment.
