Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge 407 – Include a stocking

CHNC blog button DT

For the CHNCC we are looking for the addition of a stocking. I purchased the MFT Die-namics Fireplace and never used it. So when I saw stocking(s) I had to use it.  The diecut all the pieces in various colours and assembled it on my card front. Once done it was lacking something, so I went through my dies and stamps and came across Lawn Fawn’s, here we go a-waddling stamp set and it was perfect. I stamped it directly on the coloured paper, then coloured the image with Copics. I used a sentiment from the same stamp set.

52 Christmas Card Throwdown – Challenge 52CCT40-18-Colours – Silver

DT Badge

The Colour challenge at 52CCT is to make a  card using silver. I decided to make a card by stamping in Versamark on Black cardstock, then using silver embossing powder to add to the design elements of the image. I made two cards: one simple, and the other with a detailed silver frame. I used a Stampedous stamp called Our Doorstep.

This week’s challenge at 52 CCT is a Sketch Challenge by Fabiola. I had a cute digi stamp from Bugaboo Stamps and simply printed it three times n various sizes. Next, I coloured them using my Derwent Inkintense Watercolour pencils, fussy cut them out and with cardstock, a circle punch, and glue I arranged everything to sit the sketch.

Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge 406 – Include a flower or two or more

CHNC blog button DT

This week, Craftyhazelnut’s Christmas Challenge is looking for an added flower or two. I was playing around with a digi sentiment from Pickled Potpourri called Ready-Set-Snow. I printed it on my laserjet printer then ran it through my Minc machine. The foil is multi-coloured and very pretty. I fussy cut it out then pasted it on some pretty Christmas paper with flower from my stash. I added some gems to finish it off.
