This week at Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge we are looking for a card for a lady or girl. Everyone female no matter the age loves Hello Kitty. I used a Christmas Hello Kitty cartridge by Cricut for my Circut Explore Air. Isn’t she super cute!
Please join us each week for another Christmas Inspiration.
For this week’s Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge, I made a card using the O Canada Christmas Paper, Stickers, and Ephemera Set. This set and the previous O Canada sets are perfect for all those Canadian crafters!
I love Christmas and look forward with your entries!

Netta is challenging us to create a card using Copper/Bronze, dark blue and turquoise. I didn’t have Bronze or Copper so I substituted gold. I also used Black and White in the card as they are not colours/neutral. I paper pieced a Christmas tree. Using my Cricut ExploreAir machine and a file from Access I created my card. Note: The SVG file did not have a trunk so I added one by simply adding a square. I also made a template for the card and cut it out so I simply had to add the coloured cuts into the template.
Please join us each week and we will help you create your 2019 Christmas Card Stash.
This week at Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge 449, the Design Team is looking for you to include a reindeer. I have had this stamp/die set from Hero Art from the beginning of my card making. It is called #657780 ‘Holiday Cheer’. I stamped the images using Versafine Black, coloured the deer with Tombow markers, paper pieced the sweaters, and used Christmas papers from my stash.
I look forward to seeing everyone’s works!
