This week we are challenging you to make a Thank You card for a Teacher. I have chosen a digi stamp from Bugaboo Stamps and created both front panel and inside panel for the card. I coloured the front panels with Derwent Inktense Watercolour Pencils. For the inside colouring I used Copics. The sentiments are computer generated! The Teacher diecut is from Papertrey Ink.

The Simply Create Too team is asking you to make a Thank You card. One can never have enough thank you cards on hand, so I actually made five variations of that card using the Stampendous Cling Stamps Set – BUILD A BOUQUET. I decided to crack open my Derwent Watercolor Pencils. I stamped all the leaves, vases, flowers and butterfly with Versafine Tuxedo Black on Neenah Solar White 100lb card stock. I coloured the edge of each image then with my waterbrush, watercoloured the images. I fussy cut all the images and arranged on the final card. I use Stampin Up Dimensionals to pop up different parts of the flowers.

I make cards for the Belmont Nursing Home as a special “Pay it Forward” for the wonderful care they provided my Mother. They needed some thank you cards and unfortunately Sympathy card, so I made them up a variety of cards for their needs.
For the thank you cards, I used a stamp set by MFT - DC Thankful Thoughts, various Stampin Up inks and gems from my stash
For the sympathy cards, I decided to keep things simple and used various embossing folders. The sympathy sentiments come from Verve Stamps - Forever in our Hearts
This week’s challenge at C.R.A.F.T. is a Thank You card. I made two separate cards using our sponsor’s – A Day for Daisies – digi stamps. I sent for a CAS design with both cards.
For card one, I used “Mr. Rooster. I hand coloured him with Copic markers. The sentiment is by Papertrey Ink – Wet Paint Cuts III Die.
For card two, I used “Bunny Ears“. I hand coloured the image with Copics. The sentiment is by SSS – Small Thanks die.
Please support our sponsors – A Day for Daisies. Without them we would not be able to supply our wonderful prizes.
