This week’s challenge at Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge 472 – Feature a Creature (any animal). I decided to use a new die set called, “ALL INSIDE BY JULIE EBERSOLE, ESSENTIALS BY ELLEN Hudson DESIGNER DIES”. I used papers from my stash, die the little bear, added a die-cut sentiment from, “Sue Wilson for Creative Expressions Craft Dies” and layered it on my card front.
Sorry about the quality of my photograph. I am away from home at this moment and cannot rephotograph it.
Please join us and we will help you get your 2020 Christmas Card Stash ready.
The first challenge of 2020 for Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge is to make a card using something old or upcycling. I decided to recycle a card. I started first by stamping and colouring a digital image. I used a stamp from A Day for Daisies – A Sign I Give. I coloured the image with Copic markers, fussy cut him out and layered him on the card. I also added a real ribbon stripe to the left of the image.
I hope you will join us for our weekly challenges. It is never too early to start my your 2020 Christmas card stash!
For my Patterned Paper Challenge this January, I am featuring a couple of Pet Sympathy Cards. For my first card, I used Sunny Studio PET SYMPATHY Clear Stamp Set SSCL-170. I used two ink coloured, coloured my image with Copic Markers, and layered patterned paper from my stash.
For my second card, I used My Favourite Things – BB Lucky Dog Stamps. I coloured them with Copic markers and added various patterned papers from my stash.
Our challenge is open for the month of January. Olease join us!
For the final challenge of 2019, the Design Team at Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge is looking for a Christmas card (the start of your 2020 stash) or a Happy New Year Card. I have been hoarding this stamp and the metal pins from Darcie’s, called POP FIZZ. I stamped the wine glasses in Versamark ink, then painted them using the pins as the colour schedule with my Derwent Inktense Watercolour pencils. I added the pins and some glitter dots of gold stickles.
Thank you for joining us this year. Next year will even be bigger and better! Join us weekly and we will inspire you for your 2020 stash!
This week at Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge, we are looking for the word Christmas on your project. The little bear is from a local stamp maker called Frog’s Whiskers Ink. The stamp is called Scottish Teddy. I coloured him like a polar bear from that more “Christmasy” feel. I coloured him with Copic markers. The sentiment is a sticker from Kaisercraft.
I looked forward to seeing everyone’s Christmas cards.
Join us each week!
