Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge 397 – For a Lady

CHNC blog button DT

This week the Design Team at Craftyhazelnut’s Christmas Challenge is looking for a Christmas Project “For a Lady”. My friend loves to drink hot chocolate on a cold evening, so I created a special card that comes with a candy cane and hot cocoa package. The images on the front are from Stampin’ Up, and the inside images are Simon Says Stamps. The front belly band keeps the card closed until it is removed and reveals the surprise.

For this week’s challenge at CHCC I made a CAS card featuring an embossed cabin in the forest. I added an interesting red and gold background, sentiment and embellishments.

Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge 396 – For a man or boy

CHNC blog button DT

The CHNCCC is to make a card for a man or boy. What could be better than polar bears skating, fishing, or just hanging around! I used MFT - BB Polar Bear Pals. I absolutely adore this set of stamps, and it is so hard to select just one bear, so I used them all! I coloured them with Copic markers and added an embossed sentiment from SSS – Small Folded Banners Holiday set.

Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge 395 – Use some red

The CHNCCC is to make a card using some Red. I love this little digis called Ginger and Cup by Whimsey Doodle. He is so adorable. I made a large Card 5″ x 7″. I added stickles to make the frosting look real, paper pieced the mug and candy cane, then coloured them with Copics. The sentiment is a sticker from my stash.

Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge 394 – Use a die cut or punch

The CHNCCC is to make a card using a punch or die-cut. I used the Taylored Expressions Nativity Border die, die cut from black cardstock. I created a border using 1/4″ strips of black cardstock. I used foiled accented cardstock.
