Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge 459 – include a stocking

A new challenge every Saturday

This week at Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge we are looking for stocking. I think of tockings and automatically think of the stocking were hung by the fire with care…. I used my Cricut and a lovely Fireplace 3D box card by My Scrap Chick. I cut it out using various cardstock from my stash and embossed the fireplace with a brick-patterned embossing folder.

Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge 458 – sentiment as the focal point

CHNC blog button DT

This week the Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge Design Team challenges you to make a card with the sentiment as the focal point. I used a number of different elements to this card. I started with a debossed background. Next, I used smooshed technique and die cut a frame. I used a Joy sentiment with a nativity design as the “O”. The final detail was adding a ribbon to bring the overall design together

I look forward to seeing everyone’s designs.

Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge 456 – 21 September include the word Joy

CHNC blog button DT

Another great challenge from Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge. This week we are looking for the word Joy to appear somewhere on your project. I used my Cricut Explore Air and a cute SVG from My Scrappy Chick’s, Everyday Girl Snowflake. I made one small mistake and missed one piece of her hair, however, I think it looks fine as is. I created the sentiment on my computer and outlined it for a more funky feel
