Craftyhazelnut’s Christmas Challenge November 2017

chnc-challenge-extra-dt-button

This challenge will last for the whole month of November 2017 – anything goes as long as it’s Christmas – it doesn’t have to be a card, you can link any project as long as it’s Christmas!

Once again this year, all of these monthly challenges are being generously sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps - a winner will be randomly chosen using random.

Bugaboo Stamps are proud to sponsor this challenge – they are offering 4 digital stamps to the randomly selected winner.

For this month’s card, I coloured one of Bugaboo’s jar images. They have a jar for multiple occasions and they are all fabulous. This one is called Christmas Jar*. *Bugaboo recently uploaded a second Christmas jar and they are both adorable! I started by colouring the image with my Copics, rounded the corners with my corner chopper by We R Memory Keepers, and added a little red stickles. Next I cut out a glittered Christmas tree using my Stampin Up Tree Punch and added the same red stickles. For the sentiment I used a Noel diecut from Frantic Stamper Precision Die – Square Vignette Noel. Final set, assemble the card.

52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown – Stash Challenge

CCT - Design For Badge

For our current challenge we ask you to design a card using wood or canvas in your card. For my card I used a wooden snowflake that I purchased at Michael’s. I also used a wood patterned card stock as the card background. The bear is from MFT – BB Polar Pals, coloured with Copics. The sentiment die cut is by SSS.

This challenge will last for the whole month of October 2017 – anything goes as long as it’s Christmas – it doesn’t have to be a card, you can link any project as long as it’s Christmas!

Once again this year, all of these monthly challenges are being generously sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps - a winner will be randomly chosen using random.

Bugaboo Stamps are proud to sponsor this challenge – they are offering 4 digital stamps to the randomly selected winner.

I started by stamping the little girl by MFT, called, “Doodle Garden, You’re the Coolest.” I stamped then coloured her with Copic. Next I cut her out and rounded the corners. The final step was to assemble my card and stamp a sentiment from Penny Black’s Festive Snippets, and add some snowflake sequins and pom poms from my stash.

52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown – Theme Challenge

 CCT - Design For Badge

When I saw the Theme of this challenge, I thought of the skating bear from MFT – Polar Bear Pals. The stamps also show the joys of ice fishing and playing outdoors.

One Stamp-Eighteen Cards – Featuring BB Polar Bear Pals by MFT

I was asked to create 18 Personal Christmas Cards that depicted “Canada”. I immediately thought of Polar Bears, and My Favorite Things –  BB Polar Bear Pals stamps and dies were Perfect! Well you know me, I can’t create the same card twice (well I can, but this is way more fun) so I created 18 different cards using the same stamp set. Here is the results!

When creating the cards, I used Copics, Derwent Inktense Pencils, Distress Inks to colour. I also used various dies, stamps, and punches from Memory Box, MFT Dienamics, Stampin’ Up, Spellbinders, Lawn Fawn dies, SSS, and Penny Black. Plus: papers, card stock, gems, sequins, stickers, ribbon and twine for my stash. If you have specific questions about the products I used feel free to contact me.
