This week’s challenge at Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge 472 – Feature a Creature (any animal). I decided to use a new die set called, “ALL INSIDE BY JULIE EBERSOLE, ESSENTIALS BY ELLEN Hudson DESIGNER DIES”. I used papers from my stash, die the little bear, added a die-cut sentiment from, “Sue Wilson for Creative Expressions Craft Dies” and layered it on my card front.
Sorry about the quality of my photograph. I am away from home at this moment and cannot rephotograph it.
Please join us and we will help you get your 2020 Christmas Card Stash ready.
For all our challenges here at Crafty Hazelnut’s Patterned Paper Challenge, we encourage you to use your patterned paper. All to often we card crafters have a tendency to hoard our patterned paper. For my card, I used a wonderful SVG file from Dreaming Tree Designs called For the Ladies. The sentiment is from Gina K.
I look forward to seeing your patterned paper put to good use.
I am running a month behind for the theme of my card, but it was so cute, I just had to make a late appearance. My card was made to celebrate Canada Day July 1, 2019. Last year I bought this adorable Oh Canada stamp and die set from Photoplay.. I used various patterned paper from their matching paper set, and the Beaver and moose stamp/die. I coloured my characters with Copic markers.
We encourage you to open your patterned paper stash and create!
Hello everyone. My name is Myrna and I have worked with Hazel (Crafty Hazelnut) for a number of years as a DT member of her Crazyhazelbut’s Christmas Challenge Extra (now closed), Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge (still current), and The Glory of Christmas Design (now closed). I have a huge hoard and pattern papers but often overlook using them. I am stoked to be a member of her Patterned Paper Challenge.
For my first challenge, I had to make a number of graduation cards for my friends’ grandbabies-1 boy and 4 girls. I decided to use my Cricut Explore Air and an SVG file from Jamie and Jenn called Bow Tie Graduate Card. I modified the card design slightly for the girl cards (*the designer also make this SVG file for a girl graduate). I personalized each card by hand lettering the grade they successfully completed.
I look forward to seeing your creations.
Gosh, Christmas and Valentine’s Day just passed, and Mother’s Day and Easter are fast approaching! Our challenge this week is the create a Mother’s Day Card. I decided to dust off my Cricut machine and using a fabulous Cascade Card design from Dreaming Tree, I created a Mother’s Day card. This card design would also be lovely for a birthday, wedding, anniversary, and more. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamps.
