This week’s C.R.A.F.T. challenge is Shabby Chic. I made two Christmas tags and the Shabby Chic fashion. I used products from Prima Marketing – flowers, pastes, sprays, inks, rub-ons, foils, etc.

The CHNCCC is to make a card using some ribbon or twine. I made a card using the Christmas Tree Greeting die by Creative Expressions. I die-cut it from black cardstock, glued it on an oval die-cut from gold fold cardstock, then pasted it on my dry embossed (folder by Tim Holtz) black cardstock and finally on my card front. Of course, I added a ribbon and bow to complete the theme!

Welcome to the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown Challenge. This month, I am in charge of the challenges. The above sketch is the July Sketch Challenge. For my card, I chose three adorable little Santa birds from the Penny Black’s Winter Wonderland stamp. I coloured them with my Copic markers, fussy cut them out, then glued them on Memory Box’s, Frosty Border, die-cut on paper from my stash.

This week’s challenge at CRAFT is based on an inspirational picture of a summer harbour. We are looking for your take on this subject. Whether you show us water, summer fun, boats, etc, I decided to take the challenge quite literally. I just got back from a fabulous vacation in Newfoundland, Canada. “The Rock” they call the province, is a real hidden gem. The harbour in my photo is from an area/town called Bonavista. It is a picture perfect little community full of wonderful people. I made this card to send to a special little girl I met there. The duck is a fun little Bugaboo digital stamp I coloured with my Copic markers, and the Hello die cut is from MFT.

Happy Canada Day Everyone! I had to create Canada Day Cards for my friend’s adorable grandchildren. Two are from the USA and to other two are from Canada. I used papers, stamps and dies from Photo Play. The stamped images were coloured using Copic markers.
